Whale Watching at Terrigal

Whale Watching at Terrigal on the NSW Central Coast offers an unforgettable experience. Join us for guided small group tours with expert commentary, providing insights into the behaviour and habitat of these magnificent creatures.

Terrigal provides one of the best whale watching experiences in Australia. The geography of the area means that the whales travel very close to our coastline. It is a short trip to their path and they are easy to find. The whales are migrating so they are very active. Breaching whales and breeding behaviours are common.
With Terrigal Ocean Tours, you’ll have front-row seats to this incredible show. From breaching and tail slapping to courtship and playful juveniles, you’ll be captivated by the sheer beauty and grace of these gentle giants.
Book your pass now for an up-close encounter with whales in their natural habitat.

The Australian Reptile Park

Established in 1958, the Australian Reptile Park is renowned as Australia’s original hands-on zoo. Located just an hour from Sydney or Newcastle, the park offers visitors an unforgettable wildlife encounter with a variety of iconic Australian animals, including koalas, kangaroos, platypus, and quokkas. Unique to the park is its vital role in venom production from terrestrial snakes and funnel web spiders, used to create antivenom. This lifesaving program has protected over 25,000 Australian lives.
In 2023, the Australian Reptile Park was awarded Best Major Tourist Attraction at the prestigious Australian Tourism Awards. This recognition highlights its significance and appeal as a must-visit destination on the Central Coast. Experience the wonder and excitement of the Australian Reptile Park, where wildlife encounters and conservation efforts come together to create an extraordinary destination.
